He rests on a quiet knoll in Rosita in his own little fenced area. I was surprised at how well the fence looked. It was in great shape for its age, if it’s been there since he was buried.  If original fencing, it could be up to 144 years old.

Rosita Cemetery is part of the old Townsite of Rosita, Colorado. Now part of Westcliffe, Rosita retains its strong community sense after so many years. Little strong valley.

Rest easy little one. Not sure where the parents are buried, but they are all together once again.
